Villa Description

This villa is a true beachfront villa – a marriage of sea, sand, oceanfront infinity pool and luxurious accommodations. Experience tropical palms and colorful flowers as you’re just steps away from the warm and tropical Pacific Ocean.  Take a refreshing swim, or just relax on your beach towel enjoying the warmth of the sun. 

Our villa has a beachfront infinity pool – where you can have a tropical fruit smoothy or your favorite cocktail with your family and friends.   We have six fully air conditioned bedrooms, five with ocean views and 4 with private balconies.  Relax in our three Jacuzzi tubs and soak up the sun while relaxing at the pool.  

There is a shaded oceanfront patio and sun deck with comfortable lounge chairs.  Inside is a large Mediterranean couch overlooking the Pacific, and toward the gourmet kitchen, an oceanfront dining area.  The gourmet kitchen is appointed to meet the needs of our chef, so if you personally prefer to use your own culinary skills, you will find everything you need.

The staff of four includes an English / Spanish speaking concierge, Hansel, which is available at all times, but comes by several times a day to make sure the guests are happy, acts as a translator, presents tours, and will stay there during daylight and evening hours, how much or how little hours with which the guests feel comfortable.  Service is 7 days a week from the staff when guests are there.  The maid, Cindy, also will do personal laundry.  The grounds man, Henry, takes care of the pool, gardens and is there to move lounge chairs to the beach, etc..  Our chef, Silvia, has been with us for 5 years and we pay her whether she works or not just so she stays with us!  We have rave reviews about her dishes, which include a sampling of Costa Rican fare as well as international flavors. 

You’ll have plenty to keep you occupied around the villa and in the Tango Mar Resort.  Boogie boards are supplied to adventurous guests that want to play in the surf, there are tide pools to explore, swim in the warm ocean, take hikes to a nearby waterfall, horseback riding by the surf, monkeys and wildlife watching, and cultural  experiences.  Additionally, there are nearby tours which our concierge can arrange for you.  

While staying at this villa you have accessibility to the Tango Mar Resort facilities which is a 5 minute walk, for additional fees. These facilities include: tennis courts, spa and golf. 

In order to get to our villa there is 22 minute flight from the San Jose airport.  Our price includes free pick up and drop off at the Tambor airport.
