This incredible Kosher safari combines Karongwe Game Reserve and the Greater Kruger National park. Both offer excellent Big-5 game viewing, and gives you two ways of seeing these animals.
The first lodge traverses thousands of acres, in its own reserve (Karongwe) which means you have a greater chance of finding the animals in a smaller time frame, and the other has access to millions of acres of the Kruger National Park. This means you get to traverse a larger area, and get an idea of its immensity, but it can take longer to find the animals. As a bonus we visit the majestic Blyde River Canyon. It gives you a lovely mix scenery , wildlife and iconic geographical highlights.
TIPS FROM THE EXPERT
After selling safaris for over 21 years, and having grown up around Kruger National Park, then in later years, visiting nearby private reserves and hiking in the Blyde River Canyon, this in my opinion as a local, is a perfect 3 out of 3 when visiting this region.
