This modern style home is a wonderful complement to the beautiful tropical setting. Set in the small village of El Castillo, this home features three bedrooms, 2 and 1/2 baths plus a living room/dining room/kitchen area off of a wrap around terrace. The three bedrooms are located on the upper level. The master bedroom has a full bathroom with a shower. The other two bedrooms have a bathroom centrally located next to the bedrooms for your convenience and the third bathroom is located on the lower level of the house next to the living room and kitchen. The washer and dryer are located on the lower level in a spacious laundry room. High quality, designer furnishings have been used throughout this home. They have been carefully selected to reflect the contemporary style while simultaneously creating a casual, comfortable atmosphere. 

This charming village of El Castillo is tucked away in the rainforest in the mountains on Lake Arenal. The village of El Castillo with a population of approximately 250 people has a lot to offer! If it is action and adventure you are looking for try zip-lining through the rainforest, or go exploring on horseback to one of the three waterfalls and take a swim. Kayaking is always fun and a great way to catch some sun and some fish! Go rappelling, canyoning or white water rafting for even more adventure. You can go to The Butterfly Conservatory or The Snake Zoo, all right here in El Castillo. This property is located approximately 20 minutes outside of La Fortuna, a popular tourist destination. When it is time to unwind after a long day of adventure, nothing will be more soothing than a soak in the free hot springs!

As this is Costa Rica, you will encounter many unpaved dirt roads. Part of the charm of this villa is that you will travel on a 4 and 1/2 mile dirt road to reach it, so get your 4 wheel drive ready!
