This chalet is the brainchild of acclaimed Swiss artist, architect and designer, Heinz Julen; a cutting-edge contemporary luxury chalet in Zermatt that boasts incredible Matterhorn views, a unique architectural design, and a number of great spa facilities. The chalet can sleep up to 10 people in its five en-suite bedrooms.

This chalet is a special sensation, fusing the authentic wooden architecture of a traditional Valais barn with the modern flair of the main chalet. Every fixture, fitting and piece of furniture has been custom-made by Heinz Julen in his Zermatt design studio and workshop, with contemporary artwork sourced from the village artistic spaces that complements the loft's design. The attention to detail here is incredible.  A lounge, dining and kitchen area in the main structure features floor-to-ceiling windows that accentuate the distinctive loft-like style, with a mix of contemporary and classic-style furnishings and a cosy, wood-burning fireplace adding to the chalet's charm.

Following an exciting day of skiing the Zermatt pistes, guests can unwind with a glass of champagne in the indoor hot tub. Encased by glass windows with the spectacular backdrop of the Matterhorn in view, this hot tub allows you to live the life of ultimate luxury. If you prefer, the glass wall can open out and magically transform the indoor hot tub into an outdoor one. On the floor below, further calming wellness facilities can be found in the form of a sauna and Hammam. There is also a fitness area with some cardio machines and free weights.

Guests can take in the latest movies in the stylish TV room, complete with home cinema system.

This chalet has five luxurious double bedrooms, sleeping up to 10 guests in total. From the central living areas, guests can access three of these bedrooms, which incorporate the same individualistic interior design as found throughout the rest of the chalet. There are two further double bedrooms, which are located in the adjoining converted 700-year-old historic chalet barn conversion, encased in glass but showcasing many original features. All bedrooms have an en-suite shower room, with many providing direct access to a balcony or terrace space.

The chalet has an elevator, as well as a ski room with boot warmers for all your equipment.

Guests will also have access to the spa of a nearby Hotel, located in the centre of Zermatt. This wellness area is themed after the Book of Genesis, with a variety of therapeutic treatments in steam rooms, saunas, hot tubs and relaxation rooms designed to walk you through the seven days of creation and experience ultimate tranquillity.
